Verdict

Il Sicario was having his first run since December when second at Bath last month but that form should probably be taken with a pinch of salt. LE MAHARAJAH’s Beverley conqueror The Night Porter won at Goodwood on Saturday and an earlier second behind Desert Path here has also been franked. Tom Clover’s charge, who has been gelded, looks well treated on a mark of 72 on his handicap debut. Brexitmeansbrexit was beaten in a match at Lingfield last time but is consistent overall and has been dropped a couple of pounds. Whitlock is well bred and showed a bit more last time at Newcastle so is preferred to Delicate Kiss and Doctor Wonderful of the others.
