Pretty Miss can get back to winning ways in an open handicap, with Methaaly, One Way Ticket, Malapropism and Multahab all in with a shout. This does indeed look a hard one to call, but there was a lot to like about the way Pretty Miss knuckled down to her task when headed close home by Gentle Guru in a class 4 at Sandown 18-days ago. She showed plenty of speed until slowing down up the hill, and this flatter track and drop in grade affords her the chance to make amends. Methaaly was claimed out of Jane Chapple-Hyam's yard after making all in a Wolverhampton claimer seven-days ago, and new connections will no doubt adopt similar tactics, but he will not get the soft lead that he did last week. One Way Ticket has not won for over a year now, but is well handicapped and has shown a bit of spark of late, while Malapropism was not disgraced finishing second under a penalty at Musselburgh just four days ago. Multahab looks set for a big run after showing signs of a return to form at Yarmouth last time, and all in all there are too many to fancy here. With that in mind, only a narrow vote goes to Pretty Miss to make all.
