        Verdict

        Blinkers would need to rekindle Nouveau Foret's enthusiasm but she has every chance on these terms. Sarafina has been competitive at a lowly level on Polytrack while though Helmsman has become disappointing he'd have to go on the short-list in a race like this. JUST BECAUSE won a Chelmsford maiden in March and was far from disgraced in a handicap over this course and distance three weeks ago, despite Kieren Fox trying to get him through a non-existent gap in the closing stages. A more inspired ride tonight could see him back in the winner's circle.
