Half of this field are making their racecourse debuts and the market will probably tell us what's expected from most. Clive Cox has won two of the last five renewals and though his Cover Charge was a cheap buy he is a half-brother to three winners. Richard Hannon runs two with Richard Hughes riding the €110,000 Acclamation colt Oh This Is Us in preference to Adventure Zone. William Haggas enjoys a good strike-rate here with his juveniles and Ornate is speedily bred but the experience of EDIFICATION can see him home. He showed promise on his debut at Goodwood and improved on that when second at Newmarket. Trikingdom, Justice Rock and Xceleration should all be capable of better.
