SMASH HIT wasn’t far behind the 89-rated Air To Air at Newmarket and was then only beaten a head when well backed at Chelmsford. If cheekpieces have the desired effect, he should take all the beating. Artemis Sky was staying on over 1m2f at Salisbury so is unlikely to be suited by dropping back to a mile and the others will all require significant improvement.
