In depth

Verdict

Mayfair Pompette has been placed in four of her eight starts but hasn’t raced since October. Positano also returns from a break but may do better as a three-year-old. Glencora failed to complete the hat-trick at Newmarket but is still heading in the right direction so looks a threat to all. HOLLYWOOD LADY didn’t quite get home over an extended 1m3f here seven weeks ago but still made the frame. She was also second in decent maiden company at Newbury in April and it will be disappointing if she doesn’t go close in this. Invincible Lass is related to stayers so should enjoy this longer trip.
