Verdict

Less than half of this field have racecourse experience. Brave Empire only beat one home at York but gave the impression that this extra furlong will suit. Boyfriend’s dam won over this trip but THE LINE looks to be the pick of Richard Hannon’s pair as he was fractious at the start when finishing third at Ascot – that run should have taught him plenty and he wears a hood here. Battle Charge is another open to improvement and Sky Warrior was a €50,000 yearling. Sonmarg was a 65,000gns yearling and his yard won this a couple of years ago while Chiedozie is definitely worth a market check as he cost 100,000gns and is from the same family as the brilliant Battaash.
