The usual warning about watching the market applies and in the absence of it, Acquiesced is nominated ahead of Giverny and Poyle Meg. The selection chased home a useful sort in Good Again at Ascot last month and with nothing like that apparently here, she should gain compensation on this occasion. Giverny represents the very much in form Jeremy Noseda team. Admittedly, the first run wasn't much to write home about but it would be no surprise to see some improvement. Poyle Meg is a half sister to Another True Story. If she possesses any of that ability, she is a big threat. Lady Lu is sprint bred and would be the first pick of the Paul Cole pairing on jockey bookings. Conversely, Port De La Ponche is bred for further and could be one to note at slightly longer odds. Similar comments apply to Autumn Morning, who is a close relation to useful stayer, Air Marshall. Dubai Legend ran green on introduction and can be another anticipated to improve. A race to watch rather than punt and Acquiesced sets a high standard for the newcomers to get past.
