Verdict
Green Apple landed the odds from a subsequent winner at Wolverhampton in February and has leading claims, but the filly will find life tougher off level weights against Jim Boyle's colt HOOVER. The latter had won easily at Lingfield before finding a couple of more experienced Richard Hannon runners too good when third at Kempton and is taken to improve on his debut on the turf. Doncaster winner Oneladyowner didn't take to the Fibresand on his return and better is expected from him, while Camache Queen and Grandmas Dream are also winners and are not easily dismissed.
