In depth

Verdict

A Stones Throw finished runner-up in a similar event to this at Towcester under Jake Greenall and looks to be improving but another on the upgrade, King Mak, has been hit with a 9lb rise for scoring over a slightly shorter trip here last time from today's rival Latin Connection, who must have a fair chance of reversing the form on 8lb better terms. KYKATE had shown ability in bumpers and was having only her second start over timber when landing a mare's novice hurdle at Catterick. She did so in the style of a progressive type and can make a successful start to her handicap career.
