In depth

Verdict

Slipsearcher stands out here, with Miss Otis and, possibly, Pelican Key the ones suggested as best of the rest. The Queen Mary Stakes fourth Slipsearcher's form stands out here based on that run and, on that basis, she is clearly the one to beat. Miss Otis won her maiden here and was not disgraced in the Hilary Needler last time, so is respected. Hucking Hope and Princess Ileana are closely matched based on Wolverhampton form, but is that form strong enough to land this race? Pelican Key has to be of interest having cost 130,000 euros and having plenty to like on breeding, and Autumn Storm's form is probably a little better than it has been rated, but it might still not be good enough to score here. Slipsearcher's is, and she is taken to score.
