Gold Show looked a sure-fire future winner when fourth in a Listed race at Newbury in May but she's been beaten three times in maiden company since and appears to lack an extra gear. Keene Dancer will strip fitter for her reappearance at Salisbury and Pearl War showed promise last season and has been ready to run for a while. But trainer Willie Haggas has three in this including newcomer Mama Quilla and HUMMINGBIRD. The latter, a half-sister to four winners, made a bright start behind Border Legend over C&D last month and can put that experience to good use now. Natural Bloom and Present Day are open to improvement and also worth a second look.
