Bracklinn might provide the answer here, with Della Salute and Tata Naka the ones suggested as her biggest dangers. Della Salute is back to a winning mark from last summer, so cannot be ruled out on that basis, particularly as her wins tend to come at this time of year, but Phoebe Woodstock has a bit to prove in handicaps. Bracklinn won from a four-pounds lower mark last season but, lightly raced, she could have more to come and should not be underestimated. It is hard to know what to fully make of the well-bred Whatizzit on her handicap debut, while Depressed won from a higher mark here over six furlongs last season and really ought to stay on breeding, but that needs to be confirmed. Double Bay needs to step up on maiden form, while Tata Naka got back to winning ways last time and a four-pounds rise should not stop her from running well. Finally, the longer trip is going to have to help Blue Line and At The Helm is racing out of the weights. All of which, returns us to the choice, which is Bracklinn.
