Verdict

CAID DU BERLAIS beat some smart hunter chasers under Will Biddick at Punchestown last April. This will be his first run since and he is giving 8lb to his rivals but looks a class act at this level. Forgotten Gold has an even longer absence to overcome but was second over a longer trip in handicap company here when last seen and the accomplished Noel George takes off a valuable 3lb. Road To Riches is a Grade 1 winner over fences but recent efforts suggest he is not the force of old while O Maonlai is better over shorter distances. Three Faces West has never been the best of jumpers and Tulsa Jack showed little on his first run for Alex Dunn.
