Verdict

Peak To Peak may be better handicapped that stablemate Dan Mcgrue, though both are returning from a lay-off in what looks a competitive handicap. Burrows Edge is also back from a break but fitness is rarely an issue with a Henderson runner and he shouldn’t be far away. Myplaceatmidnight has progressed again this season and was a comfortable winner over a slightly longer trip here two weeks ago but has to give 17lb to JIMMY RABBITTE. Richard Newland’s charge made hard work of landing the odds at Catterick last time and has gone up a further 10lb but has earned this step up in class and his trainer rarely tilts at windmills. Champagne Champ is still unexposed over hurdles so could also go well.
