In depth

Verdict

John Betjeman apparently reserves his best for Ffos Las but escapes a penalty for his latest victory there. Sambezi has only won at Fontwell so far and both of REWIRED’s victories this season have come at Huntingdon. But this track is similar in nature and Luke Scott clearly gets on well with Richard Newland’s five-year-old. Universal Secret only won a maiden here last month and Western General is still seeking a first victory, though his latest second at Taunton has been franked and he remains unexposed.
