In depth

Verdict

LITTLE RIVER BAY had been progressing well before paying the price for a lax display of jumping at Warwick and unseating her rider. Philip Hobbs’ mare gets another chance only 4lb higher than an earlier success at Uttoxeter. Precious Eleanor finished second again at Cheltenham earlier in the month and this is tougher while Fantastic Lady makes her chasing bow on her first outing since May. Fortunes Melody is another chasing for the first time but Rose Of Arcadia is preferred on last month’s second over these fences and could be in the mix again.
