Verdict
Gordon Elliott has an excellent record in this and looks like dominating with FANTASIO D'ALENE and Gerri Colombe. The former is very highly regarded and though not quite fulfilling early expectations his close second to subsequent Grade 1 winner Vanillier at Naas last November is the best form on view. Gerri Colombe is unbeaten between the flags and in bumpers so is an obvious threat on his hurdling debut. Sundrenched is also penalised for a bumper success and makes his hurdling bow while Getupthemstairs enjoyed stepping up to this trip at Navan where he ran his best race to date. Ailie Rose couldn't get close to subsequent Grade 3 winner Hollow Games at Navan but had the remainder a long way behind.
