Verdict

Le Boizelo took advantage of a slide down the weights to land an amateurs' race at Sandown but is 7lb higher today while Johanos disappointed at Ffos Las last time having gone close in a beginners' chase at Chepstow before that. Several ran over course and distance last time when fourth-placed Findusatgorcombe came out best on the good ground ahead of Cesar Et Rosalie and Air Navigator with Bermeo unseating. The former is fancied to confirm running in this but PRES has shown a big improvement since taking on the larger obstacles and won in the heavy going at Lingfield before finding only one too good at the same track. This is tougher but Chris Gordon’s charge can figure again if the underfoot conditions prevail.
