Go For One has enjoyed a new lease of life since joining Venetia Williams and it's hard to knock his chances of recording a hat-trick. He will be priced accordingly though and there are a few in here with claims so we'll be taking a chance with BOLD PUNT. Go For One is likely to go up by more than the 7lb penalty that he carries here following an impressive win at Newbury and has plenty in his favour but this looks to be more competitive. Alfred's Tower and Adare Prince both flopped last time but both are relatively unexposed, Lord Killeshanra has been given half a chance by the assessor and could be revitalised by cheekpieces whilst Wizard Of Edge is a four time course winner and, as such, cannot be left out of the equation. Cases can also be made for Nicto De Beauchene and Maori Legend but the one that we'd like to have on our side is Bold Punt. Tom George and Paddy Brennan proved a profitable partnership to follow last term and the trainer has done well with chasing debutants in handicap company. The selection was strongly supported ahead of his reappearance in a Sandown handicap that hasn't worked out too badly and this Irish point winner should be seen to better effect in this sphere; Bold Punt can prove rewarding.
