Flower of Pitcur, Avas Delight, Eljay's Boy and Waimea Bay are the four to concentrate on in this novices' handicap hurdle and we will take a chance on Flower of Pictur. The selection was well beaten at Newbury last time but that was in a conditional jockeys race and he would be the one to beat on his game win over Spinaround at Hereford previously. The booking of Richard Johnson is a further plus and with conditions to suit he looks the one to be on. Avas Delight is the one most likely to chase our selection home as he ran well for a long way last time at Taunton behind Burdens Girl, but he found precious little off the bridle that day and with the drop in trip not sure to suit he looks worth taking on. Eljay's Boy is clearly not one of the leading lights from the Paul Nicholls yard and is in a better race than the one he ran in last time on this track when he was well beaten. Waimea Bay was well beaten behind Fontanesi at Taunton last time but is dropped in grade here so could have place prospects, but Flower of Pictur is in good form at present and is given the vote.
