Verdict

The front-running STONEMADEFORSPEED took advantage of fast ground to make all at Worcester last week for which he's penalised 7lb. He wouldn't want more rain but looks to have every chance of following up. Wolftrap won't mind the conditions and he's on a lower mark than when last successful almost a year ago. Royal Battalion is also well handicapped at his best but doesn't win very often while The Last But One hasn't had much experience though showed potential in his last start at Taunton in April. Vendredi Trois has been unable to cope with a 6lb rise for his Warwick victory but Mount Vesuvius is generally consistent and could reach a place again.
