Albinus showed progressive form on the level, has shown improved form over hurdles and Andrew Balding's gelding is taken to resume winning ways here, getting the verdict over Prince du Seuil and Ghallab. The last mentioned looks to be going the right way but does need to improve to trouble the judge so he looks best watched. Stagehand was good value for his win at Exeter two starts ago but was put in his place at Ascot last time, while Cornas needs to improve on all known form to trouble the judge. Alan King's Prince du Seuil looks to be going the right way and was good value for his win at Warwick last time but he may have to settle for minor honours here with preference for Albinus.
