In depth

Verdict

I'm A Legend has shown improved form of late and has to be of interest in a race that should not take much winning but he may just be a shade high in the weights and preference is for Green Prospect, who gets the vote with Avant Gardiste rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has done little wrong of late in selling races, remains feasibly well treated and Jim Best's gelding is taken to give weight away all round. Alan King's Indicible has given little cause for optimism so far over hurdles but may do better now going handicapping, while Huguenot is hard to recommend on all known form. Barodine ran better last time but may prefer more testing ground and of more interest may be David Pipe's Avant Gardiste, who ran better in similar grade at Taunton last time and should appreciate the underfoot conditions. This is a poor contest and marginal preference is for the consistent I'm A Legend.
