In depth

Verdict

This appears easy pickings for Lamanver Homerun who appeared a fortuitious winner at Taunton last time as her stable companion Pride Of Dulgote was travelling ominously well when crashing out at the final obstacle. Left a long way behind in second was odds on favourite Super Nick, who set a high standard and Paul Nicholls' mare can be expected to come on for the run as that was her first outing for twelve months. Kingfisher Niamh is picked for the forecast. A winning pointer, her most recent run is better than the bare form suggests as her jumping left her down at stages. Finishing just in front of her was the Ferdy Murphy trained April San, who possibly didn't run his race but has some smart novice hurdle form in the book. Lamanver Homerun should win this at her ease with connections not taking any chances using a capable 7lb claimer to elimate the winners penalty.
