In depth

Verdict

Abbreviate was second over course and distance in May but was then pulled up at Ffos Las and is now 0-8 over fences. Aunty Ann is too high in the weights at present while Canyouringmeback has been winning over 2m4f at Huntingdon, though has won over 3m between the flags. Captain Buck's went close over track and trip last Boxing Day off this mark but quick ground would be a concern. LITHIC handled good to firm at Market Rasen in June when finding 2m5f too short. He’s probably on a fair mark at the moment and is overdue a first victory over the larger obstacles. Sporting Boy will probably run his race again and makes most appeal of the remainder.
