In depth

Verdict

Nothing really stands out on breeding among the eight newcomers so the market will probably be the best guide to their chances. We'll stick with those with experience and THE ROAD AHEAD gets the vote ahead of Ruby Glow. Peter Bowen's mare found only Pure Style too good at Stratford last month and the winner ran well under a penalty at Huntingdon earlier this week. Like April's Fontwell second Ruby Glow, Lady From Geneva makes her seasonal reappearance though has been placed in both starts so far.
