Verdict

Morestead hasn't shown much so far this term and C&D winner Goring One returns from a break. So does Ukrainian Star but Last Shot produced a much better effort when only headed close home at Fontwell 12 days ago and Chasers Chance caused an upset in a four-runner race at Chepstow last week, though has more to do here under a penalty. ALLERTON improved over hurdles in the spring and made a winning start to his chase career over a slightly longer trip at Newton Abbot last month. Only a five-year-old, there should be more to come from Fergal O'Brien's gelding and he gets the vote in this with Diamond Eclipse continuing to disappoint.
