Verdict

CONTENTED looks to be on a steep upward curve and had any amount in hand when scoring at Sedgefield. He makes his handicap debut having been raised 5lb but Sean Houlihan takes off 7lb so he looks to be ahead of the assessor. Hatchet Jack has shown definite signs of ability and wasn’t beaten far over a longer trip last time at Ascot. Maguire's Glen is thoroughly exposed and on a career-high mark but he’s been placed the last twice and should run his race again. Cheekpieces may help Vicenzo Mio but he’s on a long losing run and the lack of a recent run is a worry for Beau Phil and Martabot.
