Cornish Gale (IRE) is another tentative selection in what appears to be a very open race. It's very difficult to be enthusiastic about any of the runners here; however, Paul Nicholls's hurdler clearly has the ability to win a race of this standard. He has looked as though today's step up in distance should suit and the less testing conditions are also to his favour. Good Thyne Guy is a leading contender and has shown a liking for a stiff test of stamina; however, today's race may have more of an emphasis on speed and he may not get the race to suit. Table For Five would have a chance on his best form but may be best watched after being pulled up on his last run. Cracking Walker and Rimpton Boy are two others with an outside chance with both having their first run under Rules.
