In depth

Verdict

Westfield Dancer, Lusaka de Pembo and Blaze Ahead look the main protagonists in this handicap chase and the vote is given to Lusaka de Pembo. The selection was a fair fourth behind L'oiseau last time out. That form looks solid and off the same mark here he is taken to regain the winning thread. Westfield Dancer rates the main danger on his best form but he has disappointed of late for no apparent reason so he cannot be put forward with much confidence. Blaze Ahead is another that could go well on his best form but he is best with more cut in the ground and if rain arrives he will be a danger to all. Gumley Gale is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is exposed, while Castlemore has yet to win over a trip this far and as Lusaka de Pembo is fit and sure to stay he looks the one to be on.
