A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Sharaab, Monsieur Villez and Inmate, and the tentative vote is given to Sharaab. The selection was a fair sixth behind Alpha Juliet last time out. The step up in trip looks sure to suit and he looks a value bet in an open affair. Monsieur Villez rates the main danger on his best form and as his best efforts last season were when fresh he could go well at a price. Inmate is another worthy of respect on his latest fifth behind Lazy Lena but she will do well to win from out of the handicap. Of the others You'vegotmerocking won well a couple of runs ago when beating Barney's Lyric but he will appreciate the return to this softer surface. Seveneightsix is from a very shrewd yard and should be watched in the market but in a race that throws up more questions than answers and where stakes should be kept to a minimum, for the winner we return to Sharaab.
