    Verdict

Midnight Appeal is certainly capable of improving on a debut win over fences at Huntingdon last month and is much preferred to Bathwick Quest, whose style of racing suggests she may struggle to get home over this longer trip under top weight. Psi still looks too high in the weights but Lady Bling Bling is gradually edging towards a decent mark and could play a part. RANDJO is probably the one to beat, however, having returned from a break to win easily at Fontwell in January. He failed to get to grips with Baseball Ted at Leicester last time but the winner has scored again since in better company at Newbury and Victor Dartnall's six-year-old is possibly still on the right side of the handicapper.
