Verdict
Wednesday's intended Exeter runners Wait For The Light and The Snail may not turn up here but if they do then the former would have a definite chance, though we will side with FLAG FLIER to get home in front. Bob Buckler has not had many runners of late so we are not sure of what form they are in, but he does reasonably well at this track and Flag Flier, a six-year-old Alflora mare, drops back in trip to a more suitable 2m 6f today. She has previously gone close in a selling handicap hurdle over a similar trip at Plumpton and handles the ground okay, so we will suggest her. Aleemdar acts on the ground and it is not too long in the past since he was making the frame from substantially higher marks, though he is long-in-the-tooth now and may not be the force he was. Fast ground performer Desert Lover is another who has done well from much higher marks as recently as the spring, and he has possiblilites in what is a very poor affair. Bru Na Si makes the trip over from Ireland but would ideally want good ground or slower to be seen to best effect, while Prince Noora has some sort of claim given that he acts on the ground and stays this far, though he looks to have a few pounds to find. Flag Flier can make the most of a feather weight.
