The unexposed Raslan, who has won his last two starts, begins his handicap career off what looks a decent mark of 118 and David Pipe's gelding is taken to make it three out of his last three starts with the main dangers looking to be Master Mahogany and Kanad. The last mentioned went up 11lbs for his handicap success at Ludlow in January and, while running well back in a novice race at Folkestone subsequently, may just be a shade high in the weights at present. Jericho III is well treated on chase form but has not run over hurdles for quite some time so may be best watched, while Le Burf seems plenty high enough in the handicap at present. So Wise So Young has given little cause for optimism and a bigger threat is likely to come from top weight Master Mahogany, who takes a drop in class today. Raslan looks to be going the right way though and is taken to win again.
