Wotashambles may be capable of following up at the expense of Changiz, Not For Diamonds, Bite Un Fight and Dizzy Future to name but a few. Quite a few in this large field can be ruled out, but that does not make it much easier trying to sift out the winner. With this in mind, only a modest vote goes the way of Wotashambles who came good at the seventh time of asking at Huntingdon last month. He did not beat much, but the win was not unexpected, given that he was fancied when pulled up at Fontwell the time before, and he should improve enough to go close again over this slightly longer trip, despite rising in the weights. Changiz is not as certain to stay on breeding, but he kept on well enough in cheekpieces at Kempton last time, and has a light enough weight. Not For Diamonds was a beaten favourite over the course-and-distance last time after being taken wide throughout. If Andrew Thornton can save ground this time, he can be involved in the finish, as can Bite Un Fight, whose last run at Folkestone can be forgotten as he got bogged down in the very heavy ground. Dizzy Future has a bit too much weight to carry for what he has achieved so far, and will no doubt go chasing soon, and for the winner we return to Wotashambles.
