Verdict

Winning Spark was only beaten half-a-length over a slightly shorter trip here two runs ago. Taj Badalandabad will have needed his run at Cheltenham and Head To The Stars is also eased in grade. Monbeg Theatre came up against an in-form rival back over hurdles at Bangor but this looks a good opportunity for BALLYHEIGUE BAY, who may have been allowed an easy lead on his return to action at Lingfield but was only headed approaching the last and kept on without being given a hard time. Mon Palois still looks a few pounds too high but only a nose separated Lagavara and Daytime Ahead at Leicester and the return to a longer trip will suit Exeter runner-up Edvardo.
