Verdict

Rhaegar could give a boost to the form of Chepstow dead-heater Bill And Barn earlier in the afternoon. The Nicholls’ gelding should enjoy the switch to fences as he won two point-to-points when trained by Jack Barber. Walt has run well in both starts over the larger obstacles and is slowly slipping down the weights but Silverhow fell at the first at Plumpton on his fencing bow and may need a confidence-booster while Fakenham scorer Holbrook Park was the first beaten last time at Newbury. LE BOIZELO (NAP) only ran at Exeter five days ago but was closing down the winner close home and finished clear of the third. Best on heavy going, he’s probably on a fair mark at present.
