Whitenzo stands out here and is hard to oppose. The Paul Nicholls-trained selection comes here on the back of a good Exeter win, in which he reversed form with his Royal Artillery Gold Cup victor, Back Nine. That type of form stands out at this level and he has to be the choice. Trade Off was fifth in that race at Exeter and is only slightly better off for 31 lengths, while Just Different has not built on his 2005 Irish form and Hi Blue has little in the way of form with which to recommend him. Once again, then, it all points to the selection, Whitenzo.
