Project Mars may have benefited from a short break but just looked as though he was in the handicapper’s grip when last seen. The drying ground may not benefit January’s Market Rasen runner-up Akarita Lights but it won’t faze SOYOUTHINKSOAGAIN, who won on a similar surface at Stratford in the autumn and didn’t do a lot wrong at Ascot later, despite possibly not lasting home. Golden Emblem has been in excellent form since wind surgery and looks a danger and Bellevarde Express still has time on her side. Freddie Darling and Grand Lord are other unexposed types in with a chance.
