Verdict

THE BOSSES OSCAR, runner-up in last year's Pertemps Final at Cheltenham, had been chasing before pulling up in the Coral Cup at this year's Festival. He reverted to hurdles at Killarney and, though only fourth of five, wasn't beaten far against stronger opposition than he meets here. Whatsnotoknow looks a real threat as he's been racing in strong company including when a close fourth in a Grade B handicap at Leopardstown in February. Chinx Of Light, a winner at Galway in October, was having only his fourth start when scoring easily over this trip at Down Royal so could be anything while the selection's stable companion Fakir didn't take to fences and won a Gowran handicap by 11 lengths the last time he ran over hurdles.
