In depth

Verdict

Point-to-point and hunter winner The Baler will have found 2m3f too short here last time and Barry Geraghty, who was on board that day, takes the ride again. That Beats Banaher ran easily his best race under Rules when runner-up here at the beginning of the month and a repeat would see him go close from the same mark while Artiste Bay can do much better than he showed at Kilbeggan last time after he scored there on fast ground in April. Etcetera Etcetera suffered in the weights after her Kilbeggan success in August so, in a contest where the market is best watched, KANESH gets the vote to build on his good run on fast ground at Downpatrick in May where he made Mr Springer pull out all the stops.
