In depth

Verdict

Red Calima has had seven runs over timber and though showing potential on occasions ran poorly when last seen at Tramore in April. UPONTHE HOOF has been progressing nicely and was having his first start since October and making his debut over timber when a close fourth behind Dara Tango at Killarney last month. Normal progress will see him difficult to beat here. Daisyanabelle has performed with credit in decent maiden company and should find this a little easier while Obsession, a winner on the Flat for Jeremy Noseda, looks the type to do better, a remark that also applies to stablemate Wakhan.
