In depth

Verdict

WALK ME HOME shot up the weights after an easy course and distance victory in August but has continued to perform with credit though she'll need to jump better than she did on her reappearance here last month when well supported. Most of these have won over the trip though not That's Lifebuoy, who went up 9lb for his victory over 2m6f at Limerick. He again ran well on quicker going at Tipperary earlier this month and has to be respected. Thunderosa has won two of his last three, both over the trip under today's rider so has to be respected as does Lord Lariat, who has changed stables. The latter has been in fine form over fences since completing a double over timber last summer and is on a 12lb lower mark. Hewick returned to action with a cracking effort in novices' company at Kilbeggan and is another with a chance.
