Verdict

CALL ME FREDDIE landed a real touch over this trip at Cork in May where the good ground was put forward as the reason for the improvement. He's up 9lb but probably has more in him. Da Big Fella dead-heated for a 2m4f Killarney handicap but didn't convince on his only start at this trip. The lightly-raced Porky Rush has no problems with the distance as he showed when narrowly beaten over the track and trip in June and he's progressing fast enough to make his presence felt while Lily Light Foot is another on the upgrade judging by her second over slightly further at Kilbeggan where she was caught on the run-in.
