Verdict

Pacific Ocean appeared to enjoy stepping up to three miles when successful at Listowel so it's a surprise to see him back over tonight's trip. Declan's Lad has never won over fences but his only career success was gained on this track over hurdles. In a race that shouldn't take much winning, OLD HALL can defy his big weight and a 9lbs rise for a comfortable success over Harbour Hall at Tipperary where he jumped well and stayed on strongly after leading three out. Mad For Action is still a maiden after a dozen starts over fences but has a couple of fair efforts to his credit and is at the right end of the handicap.
