Verdict

Ashbrittle returned from a lengthy absence to score at Warwick in May but has been off the track again since. The market should tell us what’s expected from Boogie In The Barn and Billy No Name after long breaks but Champagne At Tara is best watched given his antics at Wincanton in December when last seen. Chebsey Beau won at Bangor in July but couldn’t cope with a 10lb rise at Cartmel and has gone up another 2lb since. MEDICINE HAT was outclassed in the Premier Hurdle at Kelso in February but, unlike many of his rivals, proved his well-being when winning over an extended trip on the Flat at Pontefract earlier this month and should go close if transferring that improvement back to hurdling.
