Tempsford was good value for his win at Huntingdon earlier this month but a 9lb rise for that success leaves Jonjo O'Neill's gelding with more to do today and he looks worth taking on with NGONG HILLS, who gets the vote with Prince De Bersy rated the best of the rest. The selection is relatively unexposed following just eight career starts and Chris Grant's gelding looks to be going the right way judged by a decent success here last time, when staying on well to lead at the final fence. There may well be more to come from the seven-year-old and he is taken to defy the 6lb rise for that earlier win. Ryminster also comes into this on the back of a win last time but John Wade's gelding is far from certain to confirm Kelso running with Festival King on the revised terms today so a bigger threat may come from Prince De Bersy. David Pipe's gelding showed improved form in a better race at Cheltenham last time and he has to be respected if able to build on that effort. Ngong Hills looks on the upgrade though and he is taken to complete back-to-back wins at Wetherby. (Nick Millard)
