BROADWAY BUFFALO is rated far superior to these rivals over hurdles and was last seen landing a high-quality Haydock handicap hurdle this month. He appears a potentially classy recruit to the staying chase division and has been found an attractive starting point for his debut over the larger obstacles. Scotswell houses far more experience than the likely market leader with a win and five places from eight chasing starts. A sound stayer, he looks the one most likely to benefit should things go awry for the Pipe charge. Lovcen, formerly useful with Alan King, hasn't been seen since November and now makes his debut for the Leech team, whilst Gallery Exhibition has always looked more of a chaser but has so much to find with the selection on hurdles ratings.
