In depth

Verdict

Most of these struggle to get their head in front and Saddlers Mot's recent victory came in a modest point-to-point. Front Rank has hinted at a revival but has twice been beaten in sellers recently and, though holding Saddlers Mot and Hammer on the form book, isn't the force of old. TINSELTOWN is 2lb higher than when second over C&D last month and still beaten 10 lengths. However, that was a much more competitive affair than this and Brian Rothwell's six-year-old probably deserves a tentative vote to go one better today as Lean Burn returns from a lengthy lay-off and Veronicas Boy is unreliable nowadays.
